India’s leading Agro chemical brand, who is an Indian multinational corporation that produces and sells agrochemicals, industrial chemicals, chemical intermediates, and specialty chemicals, as well as crop protection solutions. The company, headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is involved in both agro and non-agro activities. The company’s primary source of revenue is agro-business, which includes the production and sale of conventional agrochemical products, seeds, and other agricultural-related products. As their supply chain partners, we took care of import clearance, primary movement to warehouses in Pathankot & Ankleshwar. Managing milk runs, general, excise warehousing and distribution of 200+ SKUs that included crop protection products along with chemicals and seeds, occupying 2000+ pallet positions.

When it comes to improved customer satisfaction levels in logistics management, efficient performance and timely delivery are just as important as lowering logistics costs.

To provide an improved experience in their supply chain processes, we shifted their operations from the bonded warehouse. A flexible warehousing model was implemented along with regular SAP invoicing and excise return filing. Dedicated vehicles assigned for milk runs.

The firm reaped manifold benefits through these changes. The warehouse shift helped cut back on huge container detention costs. The flexible warehousing model took care of both raw materials and finished goods. SAP invoicing and excise return filing helped saved a lot of man hours. The dedicated vehicles increased visibility and control which in turn, helped optimize movement solutions.
