1919 - 1929

  • Liladhar Pasoo was formed to offer services as MUKADAM in 1919.’MUKA-DUM means Silent-Strength’.
  • Entrusted with the responsibility of managing the port and guiding the unskilled laborers; their speciality was focused on cargo safety, security, and physical handling. Customs clearance were majorly handled by DALAL, MUKADAM & CLEARING AGENT
  • Dalal were responsible for preparing and processing documents at the customs.
  • Clearing agents were licensed to assume the activities of both Dalal and Mukadam.
  • Primitive mode of cargo transportation was bullock carts and handcarts.

1929 - 1939

    • Liladhar Pasoo Shah became one of the four founding members of ‘The Bombay Customs Clearing Agents’ Association.
    • We scaled our operations as a clearing agent & started handling coastal shipping gaining continuous market position in terms of the volume handled.
    • We handled numerous country craft vessels arriving at Bombay Port.

1939 - 1949

    • Liladhar Pasoo was appointed as Bank Mukadam
    • Trusted by the Central Bank of India, Union bank of India and Dena Bank.
    • We obtained an IATA license.
    • We handled chartered flights for imports.

1949 - 1959

    • Liladhar Pasoo strategically aligned with trade body to promote policies for ease of doing business to improve efficiency and reduce cost of operation.
    • We handled prestigious projects of sugar processing machines awarded by Panchganga Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd.
    • We became an active member of Indian Merchants Association – One of the oldest surviving trade institutes.

1959 - 1969

    • Liladhar Pasoo was awarded a customs house agent license. No: 0011/22 in 1962.
    • We were appointed as an exclusive CHA for Scindia Steamship Agency and were entrusted with the responsibility of customs clearing of 7 ports: Okha, Porbandar, Cochin, Nava Bunder, Bedi, Tuticorin and Madras. This helped in easing out coastal movements across these regions.

1969 - 1979

    • Liladhar Pasoo started Bulk and Break-bulk operations with transportation and emerged as one of the consistent market leaders over the years.
    • We handled charter vessels for export of soap for Hindustan Lever.
    • We handled import and export of Castor oil and oil cake, Bulk oil, Pulses.
    • We were appointed clearing agent for Oil India Ltd, for seismic survey and well digging.

1979 - 1989

    • Liladhar Pasoo was among the first few to open an office in Kandla and the only one in the Free trade zone.
    • In 1987, we began our operations at Nhava Sheva Port.
    • Liladhar Pasoo & Company firm was converted to PVT LTD.
    • We evolved as buyers’ consolidators.
    • DLC forwarders Pvt Ltd- Our 2nd Customs House Agent License was obtained in 1984.

1989 - 1999

    • Liladhar Pasoo emerged as market leader in offering customized logistics and loose bulk handling solutions to Agro commodities trade.
    • In 1993, we obtained a Stevedore license at Kandla port.
    • We commanded a major market share in RICE exports.
    • We were involved in vessel schedule planning with shipping lines by supporting them with volumes.
    • We started offering warehousing solutions & quality check services for Agro commodities near Kandla port.

1999 - 2009

    • Liladhar Pasoo expanded operations across India and commenced project management services.
    • We added 3 more offices in Gujarat and 1 office in Delhi.
    • In 2004, we obtained a Multimodal Transport Operator license (MTO).
    • We were among top service providers in Mumbai port to handle break bulk movement to the East coast of Africa on a door to door basis.

2009 - 2019

    • Liladhar Pasoo strategically transformed into a 360° logistics & Supply chain solution service provider and reengineered our services.
    • We developed a vibrant freight forwarding network across 170 countries.
    • We invested into ERP to bring better efficiency and speed.
    • We expanded warehouse space to over 1 million sq. Ft all over India.
    • We offered 3 PL services to Chemicals, Pharma, Cosmetics, Engineering & FMCG industries.
    • We offered customized logistics solutions to over 18 focussed industries.
    • We were awarded the prestigious Mumbai International T2 terminal project on a door-to-door basis with transit warehousing, where domes were assembled and then trucked to the airport site.
    • We were awarded AEO status for both of our CHA licenses.
